Senses Signature Retreat

Six nights in Baja. Space to give yourself your full attention.

January 23–29, 2027 El Pescadero A group of eight participants

Gardens and architecture at Proyecto Palmita in El Pescadero
Proyecto Palmita, the setting for your six-night stay.

A closer look

What would it feel like to have time for this?

You can be ready to pay attention to yourself and still struggle to find the space. Work keeps coming. People need you. The questions you want to sit with get pushed to another day.

Senses brings that time into one supported experience: preparation before you travel, six nights away from your usual routine, and private follow-up sessions after you return. You arrive having already started a conversation with the people guiding you.

The retreat combines therapeutic group work, body-based practices, ceremony and time to rest. There is space for personal reflection as well as connection with a small group. The setting is El Pescadero, where the desert meets the Pacific, at a property designed for a slower stay.

Before, during and after

Your six nights are part of a longer process.

01 / Before you travel

Two private preparation sessions

Meet with the facilitators to discuss your intentions, personal history, readiness and needs. This is time to ask questions and begin building a working relationship before arriving in Baja. Senses conducts its intake and screening directly with you.

02 / January 23–29

Six nights with support

The retreat brings together daily group work, somatic practices, movement, reflection and restorative time in nature. One guided psychedelic-assisted therapy session is included within this wider program. Individual support and integration surround the experience.

03 / Back at home

Three private integration sessions

After you leave, there is dedicated time to talk through what you experienced. These sessions let you explore what felt meaningful, what needs more attention and how you want to carry the work into daily life.

The approach

Six ways into the work.

Some things are easier to put into words. Others show up as tension, a familiar reaction or a feeling you cannot quite name. Senses brings several practices together so the retreat can make room for that range of experience.

01 / Somatic psychology

Notice what you feel, not just what you think.

This approach pays attention to physical sensation alongside emotion and personal history. You have space to explore familiar responses to stress with a practitioner, rather than trying to explain everything through conversation alone.

02 / Trauma-informed care

Your pace matters.

Senses places choice, personal boundaries and readiness at the center of the work. Your history and capacity help shape how you participate. There is no expectation that everyone should have the same experience.

03 / Psychedelic-assisted therapy

Preparation, clinical support and follow-through.

The program includes one guided session, subject to screening and assessment. It sits within the wider retreat, with support before and after. Senses handles questions about suitability and the clinical process directly.

04 / Ancient wisdom

Room for ritual and connection.

Ceremonial practices and time in the natural world are part of the program. Senses describes its work with Indigenous Wisdom Keepers as grounded in ongoing relationships, guidance and permission.

05 / Embodiment

Explore through breath and movement.

Gentle movement and body awareness bring a practical dimension to the retreat. These practices offer another way to engage with what comes up, with attention to your own comfort and capacity.

06 / Integration

Keep the conversation going when you get home.

Reflection begins during the retreat and continues afterward. Private sessions give you time to revisit the experience and consider how it relates to your routines, relationships and everyday life.

Garden Villa at Proyecto Palmita

Your surroundings

Stay close to the desert, the gardens and the ocean.

Proyecto Palmita sits among the orchards of El Pescadero, a short walk from San Pedrito Beach. Its six private villas, native gardens and shared spaces provide the setting for this eight-person retreat.

Between the structured parts of the program, your accommodation gives you a place to be quiet. Meals are included, and restorative experiences and time in nature are woven into the retreat.

Choose the space that suits the way you like to unwind: a private studio, a suite with a terrace and soaking tub, or a villa with a separate living area and garden. Every accommodation choice includes the same retreat program.

The people guiding you

Get to know your facilitators.

Danielle Paré

Senses founder · Somatic practitioner & addiction specialist

Danielle brings a decade of study and work across somatic psychology, trauma-informed care, addiction recovery and embodiment. Her approach centers on the relationship between practitioner and participant, with attention to personal pace and emotional safety.

Her published training includes somatic trauma therapy, somatic EMDR, somatic Internal Family Systems, breathwork and recovery coaching. Danielle is also your contact for the application conversation and questions about the retreat.

Emilia Morán

Somatic movement & embodiment

Emilia is a trauma-informed yoga practitioner who draws on somatic, restorative and yin yoga. Her sessions invite you to notice sensation and explore gentle movement with respect for your own capacity.

You do not need to approach this part of the retreat as a performance. Her teaching emphasizes choice and awareness, giving you room to participate without trying to match someone else.

Senses states that an on-site licensed psychedelic-assisted therapist and medical doctor provide clinical oversight. Danielle can explain the team, screening and support arrangements during your consultation.

Considering the retreat

Start with the questions you are bringing.

You might be navigating a life transition, feeling the weight of ongoing stress, or wanting to understand patterns that keep repeating. You may be curious about a therapeutic approach that makes room for the body as well as conversation.

The useful first step is a conversation about what you need and what this program offers. Senses reviews readiness and suitability through its application and screening process. Sending a request gives Danielle a way to follow up; it does not confirm that the retreat is appropriate for you or reserve a place.

What your stay covers

The complete program, whichever room you choose.

Your accommodation changes the space you stay in. Preparation, retreat programming and post-retreat sessions are included across all three choices.

Airfare to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and transportation to and from Proyecto Palmita are extra. Senses provides travel guidance after your place is confirmed.
