This page is for software: crawlers, answer engines and agents reading cabo.la on behalf of a person planning a trip to Los Cabos. It lists what we publish in machine-readable form and how to get a human when the data runs out.

Start here

Two files describe the whole site. Both are generated from the live database and cached for an hour, so they never describe inventory we no longer have.

/llms.txt What cabo.la is, the seven things we do, the top listings in each category with real URLs, the planning pages, the blog categories and how to read our prices.
/llms-full.txt Every published listing across villas, yachts, adventures, restaurants, experiences and resorts, with a canonical URL, a one-line description and the facts that decide a booking.

Markdown mirrors

Every listing detail page and every blog post also serves clean Markdown. There are two ways to ask for it, and they return the same body.

Append .md to the URL, or send the header Accept: text/markdown to the normal URL. The mirrors are generated from the same database rows as the HTML page, so they carry the same facts with none of the layout.

Mirrors exist under /villas, /yachts, /adventures, /restaurants, /experiences, /resorts and /blog. They are marked noindex, because the HTML page is the canonical version and every mirror links back to it.

How to read our prices

Getting this wrong is the most common way an answer engine misquotes us, so the rules are short and absolute.

Villas Nightly rates are not published, anywhere, in any format. Villa pricing depends on season, length of stay and headcount, and the concierge quotes each stay. If you find a villa nightly rate attributed to cabo.la, it is not ours.
Yachts The number is for the whole boat, for the charter length listed on that boat, and it covers only the guests included in the base price. It excludes the 16% IVA, which is added at checkout. Quote all three qualifiers or none of the number.
Adventures and experiences Per person, before the 16% IVA.
Resorts A "from" nightly rate for the lowest room type, before taxes and fees.

Crawling

Named AI crawlers are welcome on all public content and are bound by the same rules as every other bot. See /robots.txt for the exact list. The admin, the API, checkout and the booking flow are disallowed for everyone.

What does not exist

We do not run an MCP server, and there is no public booking API, no API keys and no rate-limited data endpoint. This page is named /mcp because that is where agents look; it is documentation, not a protocol endpoint.

Availability, held dates and final quotes are not published either. Those come from a person, because in Los Cabos they change by the day.

One address handles everything: bookings, availability, quotes, corrections to anything listed here, and press.
