Eventos en Los Cabos 2026: A Practical Guide to Planning an Event Here

People search "eventos en Los Cabos" for two different things: the events happening here, and the event they want to hold here. This guide is for the second. A birthday dinner for twenty, a company offsite, a rehearsal dinner, a reunion. Here is how we plan one, and the rooms that handle a group without losing the plot.

Pick the month first

The calendar decides more than the venue does. November through April is peak season: warm, dry days, cool evenings and the whales in the bay from December. It is also when every good room is booked weeks out and prices sit at their highest. May through June and October are the shoulder months, with the same sun and easier reservations. June through September is hot, humid and hurricane season, so an outdoor event in those months needs a backup plan under a roof.

For a group event we would aim for late October through early December, or late April into May. You get the weather without fighting the crowds for a table.

Group dinners in Cabo San Lucas

Salvatore G's

Downtown on Vicente Guerrero, Italian, $$$, open 11am to 10:30pm and from 4pm on Sunday. A 4.8 from close to 2,000 reviews. Handmade pasta, a proper wine list and a room that seats a long table. The safe, excellent choice for a mixed group of ages.

Edith's Restaurante

On Av. del Pescador near Medano, $$$$, open 5pm to 10pm, live music, a 4.5 from about 1,170 reviews. The celebration dinner. Tableside service, mariachi and a historic feel. Reserve early for a Saturday.

Sunset Monalisa

At km 6 on the Corridor, fine dining, $$$$, open 4pm to 10:30pm, a 4.5 from over 2,100 reviews. The sunset view is the event. For a group, ask about the terrace and be seated before the light goes.

Los Tres Gallos

Traditional Mexican at Leona Vicario and 20 de Noviembre, $$, open 11am to 10pm daily, live music, a 4.4 from around 1,500 reviews. The budget-friendly group dinner that still feels like Mexico.

Romeo & Julieta

On Blvd. Paseo de la Marina, $$, open 4pm to 11pm (2pm to 10pm Sunday), rooftop seating, live music, a 4.6 from about 1,400 reviews. Wood-fired Italian and a rooftop that works for a welcome-drinks hour.

Flora Farms

Out at Las Ánimas Bajas, $$$, a 4.7 from around 3,400 reviews. Open Tuesday through Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday 10am to 2pm, closed Monday. A farm lunch here is the event people talk about afterward. Book it first.

Acre Restaurant

The other farm, on Rincón de las Animas, $$$, open 11:30am to 10pm most days, a 4.6 from about 1,600 reviews, with a rooftop bar and fireplace. Handles a big table well and is the fallback if Flora is full.

La Lupita Taco & Mezcal

On Morelos in the art district, $$, open noon to 10:30pm, closed Monday, a 4.6 from roughly 2,200 reviews. Tacos, a deep mezcal list, live music and a rooftop. The casual night of a multi-day event.

Oystera

In Todos Santos, about 90 minutes up the coast, $$$, a 4.6 from about 1,500 reviews, open 10am to 9pm most days. An oyster bar with a rooftop, for the group that wants a day trip built into the event.

The daytime part

For a group in Cabo San Lucas, Medano Beach is the easy daytime plan. Mango Deck (open 8am to 10pm, $$, bar games and live music) and The Office (7am to 10pm, $$$) both take groups without a fuss. Baja Brewing Company in San José, open 11am to 10pm, is the low-key afternoon. Whale season, December through April, makes a shared boat morning an easy add for the whole group.

What to book, in order

• The main dinner. Flora Farms, Sunset Monalisa and Edith's fill first in high season. Book them before the flights.
• Transportation. Pre-book vans from SJD and between towns. Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo are a 30 minute drive apart, and a group in taxis is a mess.
• The casual nights. La Lupita, Los Tres Gallos and Romeo & Julieta a week out.
• A rain plan if you are here June through September.
