Yes, generally. The marina is well-lit, busy, and lined with restaurants and bars into the evening. Like any tourist destination, we recommend taking a taxi or a licensed transportation partner back to your villa or hotel late at night rather than walking, especially after a few drinks.
Is the water safe to swim in?
Not every beach in Cabo is swimmable. The Sea of Cortez side (Medano Beach, Chileno Bay, Santa Maria Bay, and the Sea of Cortez side of Lover's Beach) is generally calm. Pacific-facing beaches like Divorce Beach have strong currents and undertows, so swimming is not advised there. Always check for posted flags or ask a local before swimming at an unfamiliar beach.
