What changes the price
- Season. Each boat has one rate all year, so a Saturday in March costs the same as a Tuesday in September.
- Hours. Charters run 3 hours. On 8 of our 11 boats you can add one more hour on the boat page when you book, for 15% less than the hourly rate, like $581 on the Catamaran 47ft.
- Group size. Each rate covers 6 to 20 guests, depending on the boat. Extra guests are $75 to $170 each, up to the boat's limit.
- Extras. You can add a professional photographer for 1 hour ($250) at checkout. The 16% IVA applies to extras too, and the crew tip is not included.

Cabo yacht charter cost: FAQs
How much is the deposit to book a yacht in Cabo?
Charters under $1,000 before IVA are paid in full at booking. From $1,000 up, you choose: a $1,000 deposit today and the rest before the charter, or pay it all. Cancel 7 or more days before for a 100% refund, 72 hours to 7 days before for a 50% refund, and less than 72 hours before there is no refund.
What is included in a Cabo yacht charter?
Every 3-hour rate covers the whole boat with the captain and crew. All 11 of our 3-hour boats have an open bar, 4 have a private chef, and snorkel gear is on most boats. Most also carry a paddleboard. The 2-hour Yamaha 28ft has a cooler with drinks instead. Each boat page lists its own inclusions.
Do you tip the crew on a yacht charter in Cabo?
Yes. The crew tip is not part of the charter price. In Cabo, 15 to 20% of the charter rate is standard, and it goes to the captain and crew. Bring it in cash. On a $2,050 charter, that comes to about $308 to $410.
What happens if the weather is bad on my charter day?
If we or the captain cancel for weather or safety reasons, you receive a full refund or a free reschedule, no matter the timing. Each boat has one rate all year, so moving your charter to a new date never costs more.
Can kids come on a private yacht charter in Cabo?
Yes. A private charter is the most flexible choice for families with young kids, because the captain sets the pace for your group and nobody else is on board. Life vests are on board too. Each rate covers 6 to 20 guests, depending on the boat, and the boat page shows that number before you book.
How many people fit on a yacht in Cabo?
Depending on the boat, the guest limit is 8 to 40. The boat for the biggest groups, the Catamaran 47ft, carries up to 40. Each rate covers 6 to 20 guests, depending on the boat. Extra guests are $75 to $170 each, up to the boat's limit, so for a big group compare prices with everyone counted.
