A camel ride in Cabo costs $129 to $249 per person, plus 16% IVA, across the five camel tours we book. The camel-only ride is $129 for 3 hours with lunch, and the combo tours add an e-bike ride, a boat trip to the Arch, an ATV ride or a UTV drive.

What each camel tour includes

Every camel tour we book includes the ride and a Mexican buffet lunch, and the price changes with what comes with it.

The camel-only tour is Outback & Cabo Camel Ride at $129. A camel safari through the Baja outback at a private desert ranch, riding from the desert to the Pacific coastline, with guided nature exploration, a tortilla-making lesson, and an oceanfront Mexican buffet.

  • Electric Bike Tour + Camel Ride: $129, 3 hours. Includes: Camel ride; E-bike route with safety gear; Mexican buffet lunch with beer and flavored water; Margarita-making class; Round-trip transportation.
  • Outback & Cabo Camel Ride: $129, 3 hours. Includes: Camel ride; Guided nature walk and tortilla lesson; Mexican buffet lunch; Beer, infused water, and tastings; Round-trip transportation.
  • Camels + Arch + Lunch: $149, 4 hours. Includes: Speedboat tour to the Arch; Camel rides; Mexican buffet lunch; Flavored water and beer; Transport from select hotels.
  • Camels + ATV + Lunch: $168, 3 hours. Includes: Camel ride; Guided ATV adventure; Mexican buffet lunch; Mezcal and tequila tasting; Round-trip transportation.
  • UTV Off Road + Camel Tour: $249, 3 hours. Includes: UTV circuit with protective gear; Camel ride; Mexican buffet lunch with beer and infused water; Tequila and mezcal tastings; Round-trip transportation.

Who can ride, and when the tours leave

Kids can ride from age 5, and some tours start older.

The minimum age is set per tour: 8 on the Electric Bike Tour + Camel Ride, 5 on the Outback & Cabo Camel Ride, 5 on the Camels + Arch + Lunch, 8 on the Camels + ATV + Lunch and 8 on the UTV Off Road + Camel Tour.

Tours leave at 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM, and you pick the time when you book.

Every one of them includes round-trip transportation from select hotels.

What you pay on top of the ticket

Checkout adds 16% IVA, so the $129 ride is $149.64 per person.

Tips are not included. The tours suggest 15 to 20% for the guides, in cash on the day.

Camel tours follow our tour rule. More than 72 hours before your trip: 75% refund. From 48 to 72 hours before: 50% refund. Under 48 hours, a no-show, arriving late, seasickness or heading back early: no refund. If the port is closed, or the captain or tour team cancels for weather or safety, we move you to a new date. If no new date works for you, you get a full refund. Light rain or choppy water that the captain calls safe is not a cancellation.
