Best All-Inclusive Cabo DealsLimited Time!

The phrase "all-inclusive deal" makes luxury travelers flinch. They picture watered-down drinks, buffet lines, and entertainment programs run by someone with a whistle and too much enthusiasm. I get it. Most all-inclusives deserve that reputation. But Cabo has a few properties that have figured out how to do all-inclusive without sacrificing quality, and the economics can actually make sense if you know what you're doing.
Why All-Inclusive Works in Cabo (Sometimes)
Cabo dining is excellent but not cheap. A nice dinner for two at a top restaurant runs $150-300. Add drinks, lunch, breakfast, and the occasional $18 poolside cocktail, and a couple can easily spend $200-400/day on food and drink alone. At an all-inclusive running $600-800/night that covers everything, the math starts to favor the resort, especially if you're the type who enjoys multiple glasses of wine with dinner and doesn't want to think about it.
The key is picking the right all-inclusive. Most of them are mediocre. A few are genuinely great.
Grand Velas Los Cabos: The Best All-Inclusive in Cabo
This is the one. Eight restaurants, all of them legitimate. Cocina de Autor has AAA Five Diamond recognition and serves a tasting menu that would be impressive at any standalone restaurant. The wine cellar has 3,000+ labels. The sushi restaurant uses fish that was in the ocean that morning. The Mexican restaurant does mole that takes two days to prepare.
Suites start at 1,100 square feet. The spa is 30,000 square feet. And your $600-1,200/night rate covers everything: all eight restaurants, premium spirits (not just rail liquor), room service, minibar refills, spa hydrotherapy circuit, and select excursions.
The trick with Grand Velas: book directly through the resort for the best rate, and ask about their "spa inclusive" packages that bundle treatments with the room.
Best for: food lovers, couples, anyone who's been disappointed by all-inclusives elsewhere.
Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos
Le Blanc is adults-only, all-inclusive, and aggressively luxurious. The rooms are all suites with marble bathrooms and ocean views. The service model is closer to a boutique hotel than a mega-resort: personalized attention, butler-level responsiveness, unprompted upgrades.
The dining is strong across four restaurants. The Italian spot is the standout. The spa uses high-end products and the hydrotherapy circuit is included in your rate. Rates run $700-1,500/night all-inclusive.
Best for: couples who want a pampered, adults-only experience without thinking about the bill.
Marquis Los Cabos
Marquis flies under the radar compared to Grand Velas and Le Blanc, but it's a solid all-inclusive with a great beach location on the corridor. Adults-only, 237 suites, multiple restaurants, and a more tranquil vibe than the bigger resorts. The ceviche bar by the pool is a highlight. Rates run $400-800/night all-inclusive.
Best for: couples who want quiet luxury at a more moderate price point.
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos
Hyatt Ziva is the best family-friendly all-inclusive in Cabo. It doesn't pretend to be ultra-luxury, and that honesty is refreshing. Clean rooms, good (not great) restaurants, a waterpark for kids, and direct beach access on Medano Beach. Rates run $350-600/night all-inclusive.
The food is reliable rather than revelatory. The kids' club is well-staffed and gives parents actual time to themselves. The beach location is unbeatable for families who want to swim.
Best for: families with kids who want all-inclusive convenience on a swimmable beach.
How to Actually Get a Deal
The "deals" you see on travel sites are usually off-season rates disguised as discounts. Here's how to actually save money:
- Travel in September or October: This is the low season in Cabo. Rates drop 30-50% at all-inclusive properties. Yes, it's hotter and there's a small hurricane risk, but the water is warmer, the crowds are gone, and the whale sharks are in the Sea of Cortez for snorkeling.
- Book direct: Call the resort or use their website. Hotels pay 15-25% commission to OTAs (Expedia, Booking.com). Many will give you a better rate, room upgrade, or resort credit if you book direct.
- Ask about packages: Most all-inclusives offer spa packages, romance packages, or extended-stay packages that bundle extras. A 5-night stay with a spa credit and airport transfer is often cheaper per night than booking 3 nights without extras.
- Use hotel credit cards: Amex Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Hilton Aspire all have bonus multipliers for hotel bookings. The points add up fast on a $700/night room.
When All-Inclusive Doesn't Make Sense
If you're the type who wants to explore Cabo's independent restaurant scene, all-inclusive is a waste. You're paying for food you won't eat because you'll be at Manta, Acre, and Edith's instead. If you're traveling with a group of 6+, a private villa with a chef is almost always a better value and a better experience.
The math: a villa at $2,000/night with a private chef ($200-300/day for a chef who cooks all meals) costs $2,300/night total. Split among 10 people, that's $230/person/night for private villa luxury that no all-inclusive can match. You set the menu, the schedule, and the dress code.
The Bottom Line
All-inclusive in Cabo can be excellent if you pick the right property. Grand Velas is the gold standard. Le Blanc is the pampered adults-only choice. Hyatt Ziva is the smart family pick. Everything else, be careful. Read recent reviews, check the restaurant quality, and ask whether the "premium" spirits are actually premium.
And always remember: the best value in Cabo isn't a resort deal. It's a villa with a crew, where the only limit is your imagination.
